Open Source Notices
1. Third-party components
SIDRA OS includes third-party and open-source software required for capabilities such as AI connectivity, messaging, audio processing, browser automation, networking, and the bundled runtime. The exact set can vary by platform and release.
2. License terms stay with each component
Third-party components remain governed by their respective copyright holders and license terms. SIDRA's End User License Agreement does not remove or narrow rights that an applicable open-source license requires SIDRA to preserve for you.
3. Exact notices ship with every release
Current customer packages include THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt, an inventory generated from the exact production dependency tree used for that package. Relevant package-level license and notice files are preserved with the distributed components. The bundled Node.js runtime license is also included.
4. License families currently present
Current production dependencies include components under permissive licenses such as MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD, ISC, 0BSD, and BlueOak, as well as components under LGPL and GPL terms. The package inventory is the authoritative per-release record.
5. GPL and LGPL components
The current messaging dependency tree includes libsignal through @whiskeysockets/baileys; its package metadata declares GPL-3.0. Current audio and image-processing dependency trees also include LGPL-licensed components. Their applicable licenses and distributed materials remain available in the customer package, and SIDRA's proprietary restrictions do not apply to rights granted for those components under their own licenses.
6. No license transfer to SIDRA source code
The presence of open-source components does not by itself grant rights to SIDRA-authored source code. SIDRA-authored software remains subject to the SIDRA Software License Agreement except to the extent an applicable third-party license or mandatory law requires otherwise.
