Set up Owner Control.
Change it anytime.

WhatsApp is optional. If you skipped it during installation, you do not need to reinstall SIDRA. Pair it later from Terminal, change the Owner Control number when needed, or repair the linked-device session from the same CLI.

Skipped WhatsApp during install? Pair it now.

WhatsApp is not a separate SIDRA package. The install-time choice is reversible: run the pairing command whenever you want to enable Owner Control.

Check the current WhatsApp state

If WhatsApp is not paired, SIDRA reports that state and points you to the pairing command.

Pair the dedicated SIDRA account

Replace the placeholder with your personal Owner Control number in international format, including the leading + and country code.

Owner Control must be a second personal WhatsApp number. The account you scan the QR code from is the dedicated SIDRA WhatsApp account. The --owner number cannot be the same account paired to SIDRA.

Scan the QR code

On the phone that owns the dedicated SIDRA WhatsApp account, open WhatsApp → Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device, then scan the QR code shown in Terminal.

Verify pairing and Owner Control

Run status again. A ready setup should report WhatsApp as paired and Owner Control as configured.

02 · CHANGE OWNER NUMBER

Change who can control SIDRA without re-pairing WhatsApp.

The dedicated SIDRA WhatsApp account can stay paired. Change only the personal number authorized for Owner Control.

The new Owner Control number must use explicit international format and must be different from the dedicated WhatsApp account paired to SIDRA.
03 · REPAIR OR RE-PAIR

Repair the linked-device session safely.

Use repair when the existing WhatsApp linked-device session cannot complete its required sync or when you intentionally need to pair the dedicated SIDRA account again.

SIDRA backs up the previous linked-device session before re-pairing. If repair fails, the previous session is restored when available.
04 · WHATSAPP COMMANDS

Every WhatsApp command in one place.

These commands are available after SIDRA is installed on macOS or Windows. Copy the command you need and replace placeholders with explicit international numbers or exact peer names.

Show whether WhatsApp is paired and whether an Owner Control number is configured.

05 · OWNER AUTHORITY

Inbound control belongs to the Owner Control number.

Ordinary protected WhatsApp peers are outbound-only. Automatic inbound authority is reserved for the configured Owner Control route, so adding a contact or peer does not silently give that person control of SIDRA.
